Lee Frances Heller, the founder and editor of the Grace and Lace Letter, later the Love Letter, passed away May 19, 2000. Lee's obituary is available elsewhere on this site. The following is her introductory note to the Grace and Lace series, now a semi-annual essay called the Grace Letters. We are a publication dedicated to the support of Christian crossdressers, transgendered and transsexuals. Many have been kept out of their churches and have assumed God doesn't want anything to do with them because of it, and that their "lifestyle" is a sin. It is NOT. God made us this way.
